In order to preserve the legacy of J. M. Glozman and honor her memory, we publish a translated version of this article dedicated to her teacher – A. R. Luria. The reader is invited to look at the scientific work of A. R. Luria through the prism of the romantic approach. Following A. R. Luria, J. M. Glozman calls on psychologists to describe cases in detail, observe, and take into account the unique history of a person’s life when studying psychological facts. The author pays attention to the analysis of the relationship between the social, cultural, historical, and biological in human development from the standpoint of the Cultural-Historical approach.
