Abstract

Based on theoretical analysis, comparison and systematization of the achievements of psychological science, this article makes an attempt to generalize and analyze the accumulated experience in studying the phenomenon of personal potential. Various approaches of domestic scientists to determining the essence of a personal potential, its structure and determinants are presented. The main methodological basis of the research is the approach of D.A. Leontiev. The relationship between the concepts of personal potential and self-transcendence is analyzed.
